I work with high quality art materials. 250 g/m² paper, mechanical pencils and a fixative spray to prevent smudging and fading over time
I also take high definition scans of every artwork I make
I offer illustrations in A4 and A3 sizes.
- A4 is perfect for framing on a shelf or to give as a gift

Because I'm based in Denmark I price in DKK or Danish Krone
An A4 illustration of a single person or pet costs 650DKK* (approx. US$100 / £75 / € 85)
An A3 illustration of the same subject costs 1100DKK* (approx. US$175/ £125 / € 145)
For multiple subjects (e.g. a dog and a cat), the price may vary based on complexity.
I am also happy to composite an image using multiple photos if your dog and cat won't sit still together!
*Shipping is free within Denmark and added for other regions

If you're excited to get some artwork made then here's what to do:
1, email alexbedwellart@gmail.com or message me on Instagram here > instagram.com/alexbedwellart/ so we can chat about what you would like
2. When we have agreed on a photo (or selection of photos) then I will give you a timeline for delivery based on my current queue
3. Payment is made only when I start to draw via card, Paypal or MobilePay (within Denmark)
4. When the artwork is complete, it will be sent in a hardback envelope directly to your address

How long will it take to receive my order?
How long will it take to receive my order?
When you place an order for a unique illustration, you will be added to the queue.
I will update you when I am ready to create your art, at which point payment occurs.
Then I will update you again when it is finished and ready for postage, usually within a few days - at this time you can preview the art or keep it a surprise!
If your order is time-sensitive (for a birthday or anniversary etc) then please specify this when you place your order and I will try my best to meet your timeline.

While I can't make guarantees for the many postal services that exist around the world, I have not had an artwork damaged in transit yet.
I send my artworks in hardback envelopes which keep the high quality paper flat, and my art is finished with a protective fixative spray to prevent smudging or dulling.
In the unlikely event that a portrait goes missing in transit, I keep high quality digital backups that can be printed in place of the original.

If you would like an artwork of your dog and cat together, for example, but they won't sit still for a group photo, I can still draw it.
I simply need a selection of individual photos of the subjects you want, and with a bit of experimenting I can make a coherent image that looks great.
Please note that pricing may vary for group photos based on the complexity of the image and the time it will take to illustrate.

If you want to gift art to someone without their knowledge, we can surprise them.
We can discuss the details such as whether to include a message and how to time the arrival etc.
Postage is calculated based on destination.

So far I have focused on portraits of people and pets, but if you have something else in mind then describe it for me and I will let you know if I think it is possible!
I am more than happy to create artwork of the things you love, be it celebrities, family members old and young, pets / animals and even characters from fiction.
